Sasso Luminoso is located in an exceptionally convenient location because it is located a short walk from the main square (5 minutes) which can be reached by car. You have the option to park your car in a public car park or in the private garage at 50 cents per hour, and then enjoy scenic walks among the stones only when you want to. It is an ideal location to combine relaxation and culture and also to rest a week because the convenient view and chilly location associated with the proximity of the sea (40 minutes drive) leaves more than on choice.

This Sasso that has just renovated, boasts bright spaces unlike most of the houses of the historical centre.

Sasso Luminoso in fact, not only has many windows but most of all it is built on two levels:

– The first is a large living room with a kitchen and small terrace bordering the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom.

– The second level is accessed via a spiral staircase and a hallway separates the master bedroom with bath from the big panoramic terrace.

This large terrace is the ideal place for outdoor dining and for relaxing in the sun on stone benches surrounded by soft pillows.

The sun of the Basilicata and the charm of the “Sassi” lit up by a thousand lights at night will give you such a picturesque landscape that it will be hard to forget.

Sasso Luminoso is equipped with every comfort and accessory it is a great base for visiting Matera and its mystical old town, but not only: you can go to the beach in less than an hour and visit other interesting places while you are greeted by amazing cuisine.
